Responsibilities:
- Perform landscape maintenance duties including but not limited to mowing, trimming, weeding, applying fertilizer, mulching, weeding, planting of annuals, perennials, groundcover, shrubs and trees, pruning, cleanups, and other landscape enhancement activities.
- Operate equipment and hand tools including but not limited to chain saw, pole saw, hand saw, sod cutter, slit seeder, bed edger, rototiller, leaf blowers, rakes, shovels, and wheelbarrows.
- Assists customers with complaints and questions or refers them to the Team Leader when necessary.
- Assists Team Leader with route and job planning and organization, thereby ensuring sufficient resources, materials and efficiencies are met.
- Assists with equipment maintenance and repair under supervision of the Team Leader.
- Performs other duties as required.
Job Requirements:
- Work with a high sense of urgency while maintaining a high level of quality.
- Willingness to work occasional (paid) overtime
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds to waist level and perform all other physical requirements associated with a position of this nature
Nice to Have:
- Valid Driver's License with clean record.
- One year experience in this or a related field
- High school diploma/GED (or current student status)
